After reading the reviews and not wanting to spend too much money I took the plunge and ordered a size large.<br/>I have used this regulary and am very impressed with the quality and feel for the price. It does feel a little tight under arms when first put on but after a few minutes I forget ive got it on. I wanted a thermal compression base layer for cycling and after weeks of looking in shops and online found the Sub Cold base layer. After reading the reviews and not wanting to spend too much money I took the plunge and ordered a size large.
I have used this regulary and am very impressed with the quality and feel for the price. It does feel a little tight under arms when first put on but after a few minutes I forget ive got it on. The compression is very good and it is excellent at wicking away the sweat and keeping the cold out.
I will definately be purchasing another one and can highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality thermal compression base layer at a bargain price. 10/10.

Great quality product & far cheaper than other brands. The seams leave less marking (impressions) on the skin than ones I’ve paid more than double for.

Found it a bit tight under the left arm around the seam area……….strange as my right is the drinking arm ;-)

Really looking forward to a bigger range, eg back support compression built in etc.

Outdoors, on a chilly evening bike ride and only needed a thin jersey on top to stay warm - did a fairly stiff hill climb and it wicked moisture away surprisingly well, practically no chill on the descent. Put it on indoors and it felt a bit too warm. Outdoors, on a chilly evening bike ride and only needed a thin jersey on top to stay warm – did a fairly stiff hill climb and it wicked moisture away surprisingly well, practically no chill on the descent. Given these things were (some still are) c.£40 last year, this looks a good purchase.

very pleased with new fleece. It is a lovely purple as per the picture and very warm. It works well under my waterproof jacket, no issues with sleeves riding up either. Would consider buying another in a different colour just for variety!

I got this fleece to zip inside the Regatta Davinia jacket I had bought,
it fits in fine, the only slight gripe is that it has no elastic on the
back of the neck to attach to the jacket, but have worn them together and
it doesn’t fall down on the neck.

The fleece when you first open it seems quite light and flimsy, but don’t let that fool you, it is very comfortable and suprisingly warm, I worn it to windy Blackpool recently on its own and felt very snug indeed, the colour is a lot lighter than the picture, it is more of a soft off white, the sizing is fine, I am between a 12 and a 14 and busty, so I ordered a 12 because I don’t like baggy jackets, and it zips up nice and snug, but is not too tight.

Overall a very good purchase.

I have varied success buying clothing on the internet, one man’s large is another man’s medium and all that.

Slazenger mean their sizing and jolly excellent they are too! Colour is remarkable, fit is good and the cotton is thicker that cheap no-brand T’s.

As a regular walker, often in heavy boots, I find these socks the very best. They are warm and comfortable while allowing my skin to breathe. The toe and heel are slightly cushioned. With well fitting boots these are my favourite walking socks, but they are equally comfortable all day in trainers or other winter shoes.

I bought these socks for a Duke of Edinburgh walk. They were perfect, I had no blisters (obviously that’s because of my boots as well, but bad socks can sometimes mean bad blisters). I highly recommend these for similar activities.

Walked the Tour de MOnt Blanc this year with 3 pairs of these and the Bridgedale coolmax liner socks. I had no trouble with my feet during the 2 weeks walking. They wash and wear without a worry.
